This is a cash-settled futures contract tracking the premium to the LME aluminium P1020A price without duties (duty unpaid, Rotterdam) per Fastmarkets MB assessments in USD/tonne. Lot size is 25 tonnes, with 24/7 trading; final settlement is the arithmetic average of monthly assessments, published by LME after the last trading day of the month. The index is useful for hedging import deals in the EU.
