ZAR/XAF (BEAC)

The reference exchange rates are published by the Bank of Central African States (BEAC) every working day. These rates remain valid until the next publication and serve as a mandatory baseline for calculating quotation limits in commercial transactions within the CEMAC zone. Buying and selling rates for manual exchange operations must not deviate by more than 5% from the published reference rate, while rates applicable to transfer transactions outside the zone are capped at a 3% deviation. These figures constitute reference prices and should be distinguished from the specific transaction rates applied by the Central Bank for its own transfer operations.
