CCIL Broad Index serves as performance benchmark against which the performance of bond markets can be measured. The index consists of top 20 traded bonds. The price movements are captured in the Principal Returns Index while the Total Returns Index provides the change due to both the price movements and accrued interest. The index is calculated by The Clearing Corporation of India Limited.
