The Corruption Rank index reflects the place of the country in the Corruption Perception Index. The first place denotes the best result, i.e. the least corruption. Several countries can take the same rank. The Corruption Perceptions Index is an annual composite index that measures the perception of corruption in the public sector in various countries. The index is prepared by Transparency International based on data from surveys conducted among experts and in the business community. The Corruption Index has been calculated and published annually since 1995.
