728 day Cetes is the rate that characterizes the yield of zero-coupon bills denominated in pesos issued by the Bank of Mexico with a maturity of 728 days. Cetes (Treasury bills) have been placed at a discount through weekly auctions since 1978 and are an important tool used by the government in monetary policy.
