The Index is designed to measure the dynamics of prices for consumer goods and services in Russia. It reflects changes in the cost of a fixed basket of goods and services since the beginning of the current year. The Index is calculated based on data collected by Rosstat and pertains to the category of consumer prices. The methodology accounts for regional differences and seasonal factors in pricing.
