The Specialty Products segment provides film-based products to business-to-business customers. This segment offers films for non-destructive testing, motion pictures, and aerial photography, as well as microfilms and films for the production of printed circuit boards. It also provides materials for high-security ID documents; conductive polymers; synthetic papers; and membranes for hydrogen production. The company markets its products through its own sales organization; and through a network of agents and representatives. Agfa-Gevaert NV was founded in 1867 and is headquartered in Mortsel, Belgium.
