Haftalık Katılım Fon Bülteni
Precious metals funds led the week with a median gain, while money market and sukuk categories posted modest positive returns; equity participation funds dropped sharply, with the category’s weekly median at −7.42%. Among individual standouts, silver-focused and other precious metals funds dominated weekly leaders, and short-term participation and free funds featured prominently in monthly top returns. Overall, 144 TEFAS-traded participation funds across six categories show a mixed backdrop: defensive buckets (cash, sukuk) steady, commodities resilient, and equities under pressure.
Regulatory backdrop remains notable for after-tax performance: withholding is 0% for equity-heavy funds meeting the Borsa Istanbul 80% threshold; a general 17.5% rate applies to other funds acquired from 9 July 2025; and from 5 September 2026, institutional investors face a 10% rate on gains from money market funds and free funds labeled as money market.
